STXC Mid Summers Race Series at The Ranch

SHORT TRACK Racing at The Ranch!

We are beyond excited to bring Short Track racing to The Ranch at Cameron Park! STXC racing is a fast-paced event with race times ranging from 25-45 minutes, depending on the category you enter. This four (4) race series will take place every Thursday evening throughout July. Racers will accumulate points throughout the month and we will award a series winner at the final race on July 27th. Points will be taken from the best of three (3) races. So don't worry if you miss a week.

We have worked hard to develop an awesome course that packs plenty of single track, berms, jumps (optional), climbing (not optional), and descending all into a one-mile track. While the course is challenging it is still open to all skill levels and abilities.

ALL proceeds from this event will go directly to the Texas Interscholastic Mountain Bike League (NICA). In an effort to grow junior mountain bike racing - all under-18 Juniors are invited to race for FREE!

Food trucks, tables and setting will be set up. So come out, race, and enjoy some food with the Waco mountain biking community.

That being said; we use some familiar category names to help guide you into making the right decision.

Juniors and Beginners will have staggered start times. They will be on the course at the same time, but not racing together.

See our BikeReg page for information on the points structure.

You will be given a number plate at the first race YOU attend. While there are many number plates out there, the one you are given is yours for the remainder of the series. Don't loose it! Keep it in a safe place between each race and treat it well. If you happen to misplace it, you can get a new one for $5.

As I said, this course has something for everyone. ALL of the course is on the dirt, no asphalt! The STXC course shares parts of the trail from Arizona, Phoenix, Powder Monkey, and Weber Run. There have been plenty of features added to help keep the racing fun.

STRAVA Course Map

Parking for the course will be in the field just West of Adeline drive (it will be marked). Please be respectful of the residents in the area and don't speed or block any driveways.

It is mandatory that you sign a One Day Waiver and Release of Liability for the Ranch at Cameron Park BEFORE you ride the course. Waivers will be available at on-site registration. *Helmets are mandatory - no exceptions*

Official course pre-ride is from 4pm-5:20pm. As stated above you will need to sign a waiver before you ride the course. The course will need to be completely cleared of riders before a race can start so please don't be "that guy".

Our BikeReg page is live HERE. We will have on-site registration as well.

Seriously, THANK YOU for your support. This event is meant to be a fun and inviting event for the whole family while supporting our local NICA scene.
