For the data junkie or the athlete that just needs to know the basics, Garmin’s latest line of GPS units options for everyone. If Mom is still wearing the old GPS wrist watch that looks like a small brick, it’s time for an upgrade. The new line of Garmin Forerunner, specifically the Forerunner 935, watches has the most advanced metrics for multisport athletes to track everything from stride distance to workout productivity. All that comes in a sleek package that doesn't look out of place off the bike. With a battery life up to 2 weeks you don’t have to stress about always charging either.

Or if you’re just looking for the basics you can go with my personal pick, the Garmin Edge 20. Don’t let the size deceive you, this Garmin is still GPS enabled and will track Time, Distance, and Speed. Pair it with you phone and you can use Garmin’s Connect app to automatically upload rides, create routes, and share your activities via Connect or Strava. This unit won us over with it’s long battery life and affordable price point and minimalist look.
